Cheerio Bars Recipe


  • 1/2 Cup Peanut butter
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Honey
  • 3 Cup Cheerios
  • Salted Peanuts

Preparation Method

Bring sugar and honey to a boil in 2 quart saucepan. Remove from heat,stir in peanut butter until blended. Pour in cheerios and mix until well coated. Spread in buttered 9 x 13 pan and let cool. Cut in squares.


  • You can use any other vegetables of your choice.
  • Bulgur wheat or broken wheat is also called "Wheat Oats" and is available at any grocer.
