Banana and Sago Tikia Recipe

Ingredients

  • Raw Banana - 2
  • Sago, soaked for an hour - ½ cup,
  • Groundnuts, crushed - ¼ cup
  • Green chili - 1
  • Coriander leaves - 2 TeaSpoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 TableSpoon

Preparation Method

  1. Boil the raw bananas with their skin for 5-7 minutes.
  2. After boiling, remove the skin and mash the bananas.
  3. Mix together banana, sago and all other ingredients except oil.
  4. Make small sized balls from the mixture and flatten it to make cakes.
  5. Now shallow fry the cakes on medium flame, both the sides till golden brown in colour.
  6. Pack with any ketchup/ chutney/ pickle.
