Healthy Spring Rolls Recipe


  • Mixed sprouted pulses – ½ cup
  • Onion, chopped – 1 big
  • Salt and pepper – to taste
  • Green chili, finely chopped – 1 TeaSpoon
  • Ginger, grated – 2 TeaSpoon
  • Oil – 1 TeaSpoon
  • Capsicum, chopped – 1 TeaSpoon

Ingredients For the Dough

  • Whole wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Oil – 1 TeaSpoon + for shallow frying
  • Salt – to taste
  • Water – enough to bind the dough

Preparation Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and cook till light brown in color.
  2. Add the capsicum and cook for a minute.
  3. Add the capsicum and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
  4. Add all the remaining ingredients and keep aside for cooling.
  5. Bind a soft pliable dough with the flour, salt, oil and water.
  6. In a small bowl make a thick paste of flour and water.
  7. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll them into very thin chapattis.
  8. Dry roast them lightly on one side and then roast it properly on one side.
  9. Now divide the filling into 8 equal parts and stuff into each chapatti in the middle.
  10. Overlap the two ends and seal both the tips using the paste very nicely.
  11. Shallow fry them.
  12. Cut into slants and pack them in a silver foil and give tomato ketchup along with it.
