Dum Aloo Recipe

Ingredients

  • Oil 3 TableSpoon
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger 1/2 TeaSpoon
  • Garlic 1/2 TeaSpoon
  • Cumin Seeds 1/2 TeaSpoon
  • Turmeric 1/4 TeaSpoon
  • Chilli Powder 1 1/2 TeaSpoon
  • Yogurt 2/3 TeaSpoon
  • Salt 1/4 TeaSpoon
  • Coriander powder 2 TeaSpoon
  • Potatoes 1 pound
  • Tomato 1
  • Capsicum 1

Preparation Method

  1. Heat oil, add bay leaf and onion. Fry for 3-4 minutes. Add ginger and garlic
  2. The potatoes should be sliced, and the tomatoes and capsicum cut up. Add
  3. Sprinkle with turmeric, coriander and chilli powder.
  4. Beat the yogurt and blend into a smooth mixture. Add yogurt and salt.
  5. Mix gently, cover and cook for about 10 minutes on low heat.
