Kaddu Ki Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Pumpkin (cut into 1" cubes)
  •  3 whole Dry Red Chilies
  •  1/2 TeaSpoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1 TeaSpoon Cumin Seeds
  •  1/2 TeaSpoon Turmeric Powder
  •  1/2 TeaSpoon Red Chili Powder
  •  1 TeaSpoon Raw Mango Powder
  •  1/2 TeaSpoon Sugar
  • 2 TableSpoon Cooking Oil
  •  Salt to taste

Preparation Method

  1. Heat the oil in a flat pan. Add cumin and fenugreek seeds and fry until spluttering stops.
  2. Add dry red chilies and saute for half a minute.
  3. Add the powdered spices and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the pumpkin cubes, sugar and season with salt.
  5. Cook until pumpkin turns soft. Sprinkle a little water only if required.
  6. Kaddu Ki Sabzi is ready to serve.
