Kele Ke Kofte Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 TeaSpoon Ginger (chopped)
  •  1/4 TeaSpoon Green Chilli (chopped)
  •  1/4 TeaSpoon Cumin Seeds
  •  6 Raw Bananas
  •  1/4 TeaSpoon Asafoetida
  •  1/4 TeaSpoon Garam Masala
  •  Salt to taste

For Gravy

  • 1/4 TeaSpoon Cumin Seeds
  •  250 gms Beaten Curd
  •  1/4 TeaSpoon Asafoetida
  •  1/4 TeaSpoon Ginger (chopped)
  •  1/4 TeaSpoon Green Chilli (chopped)
  • 1/4 TeaSpoon Turmeric Powder
  •  1/4 TeaSpoon Garam Masala
  •  1/4 TeaSpoon Red Chilli Powder
  •  3-4 Cloves
  • 4 Bay Leaves
  •  50 ml Water
  •  2TableSpoon Oil

Preparation Method

  1. Boil and peel off raw bananas and mash them properly.
  2. Add all the ingredients for Kofta to the mashed bananas. Make balls out of the mixture and deep fry them.
  3. Heat the oil and add cloves, cumin, asafeotida, bay leaf, ginger and green chilli, beaten curd, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric and water to adjust the consistency.
  4. Finally add the koftas and simmer for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Kele ke Kofte is ready to eat.
