Spicy Shakarkandi Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 TableSpoon Ghee
  • 1/2 TeaSpoon Salt
  • 1/2 TeaSpoon Sugar (optional)
  • 3 Sweet Potatoes
  • 1/2 TeaSpoon Red Pepper
  •  1/2 TeaSpoon Cumin Seeds
  •  5 Green Chilies (chopped)
  •  1 TableSpoon Coriander Leaves (Chopped)

Preparation Method

  1. Boil the sweet potatoes, peel and chop them.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds (Jeera), green chilies and sauté.
  3. Now add sweet potato pieces, salt and pepper, fry.
  4. Add sugar if you like. Garnish the sweet potato with coriander leaves.
  5. Spicy Shakarkandi is ready to serve. Serve hot.
